This picture shows two different forms of Mayan Copal that come from the same tree. Coco Plum caries Black Copal that the Mayan's believe is used to clear and cleanse a space of stagnant or negative energies and white copal is said to bring in new and positive forces to ones home or environment.  Black Copal shown here in the form of large resin balls and smaller ones wrapped in banana leaf.  The white copal is similar to amber in that it is very old and crystalized tree sap.
